Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in sales, including building relationships with Board and C-suite executives.
  • Experience in cloud computing and enterprise hardware, software, and services.
  • Experience in the German market.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience and established reputation within the region's market, with an actionable list of network contacts.
  • Experience within the corporate or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences, from developer to CEO.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.

As the Cluster Lead, you be responsible for the strategy and execution of the organization’s business plan as well as setting and achieving goals within the market. You will drive business generation and customer acquisition for Google Cloud across Corporate and Manufacturing accounts in Germany. In addition, you will be the figurehead for Google Cloud internally and will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated go-to-market with other organizations, including Marketing and Operations.

This is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in German with local stakeholders.

  • Lead the cluster's business growth in Germany with ownership for business growth strategies across both Enterprise and Corporate customers.
  • Manage a valuable external network of partners and customer executives with an understanding of complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Deliver significant business and organizational growth for Google Cloud including attracting and developing a team and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor to the customer. 
  • This is a manager-of-managers role, responsible for building, leading, and developing a high-performing team.
