We are seeking a highly accomplished and motivated display optics engineer to join the Display Engineering China team. As an display optical engineer, you will play a critical role in productizing multiple display optical technologies that are central to delivering transformative experiences for AR and smart glasses. You will be responsible for tackling and solving complex display optical challenges in factories and labs, evaluating and improving display performance of various modules and systems, driving testing strategies at factories, iterating the display specification throughout the phases of engineering and mass production to deliver great customer experience. You will be driving factories and suppliers to execute the engineering builds and bridge the gap between proof-of-concept to mass production.
You will serve as a point of contact in China in the display optics domain, working effectively with cross-functional teams including optical designers, optic process integration, metrology, opto-mechanics, operations, and suppliers across time zones. Clear and effective communication is essential to remove barriers and ensure seamless collaboration across teams.
