Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of over 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to transform complex business problems into analytical solutions, develop and maintain scalable data models, and create intuitive visualizations that drive business decisions.


Key job responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain complex business intelligence solutions using SQL, Python, and Amazon QuickSight
• Build and optimize data models and ETL processes to support reporting needs
• Create and maintain dashboards and automated reporting solutions
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights
• Develop documentation and maintain data governance standards- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
