Junior Software Engineer (C# .NET)

We work in hybrid mode 3+2, at a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and 2 days at the home office.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).

Your Role

You’ll have a significant impact on the growth of our IT Observability business through the development of our flagship SaaS product (https://www.solarwinds.com/solarwinds-observability/interactive-demo). You will be part of a self-organized scrum team working based on Agile principles. We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn new technologies.

Your Impact

• You will design, review, and develop full-stack features in a scrum team that writes code, tests it, takes care of its high quality, and maintains it.
• You and your team will be responsible for the entire development process, from prototyping to development, testing, and deployment.
•  You will cooperate with other teams and stakeholders on a daily basis, in an international environment.
• You will primarily use Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, etc.

Your Experience

•  We want you to understand object-oriented programming concepts, be able to convert problems into algorithmic solutions and have basic experience with source control like Git.
• We expect passion to develop clean and maintainable code and to follow commonly used practices such as unit/automation testing, and secure product development.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English are needed.
• Preferred experience: C#, .NET; we would appreciate if you are familiar with React, Microservices, Team City, and MS SQL.
