Amazon seeks to deliver the world’s most affordable store with best-in-class customer experience and payment solutions.

If you are passionate about developing business metrics and actionable insights from complex data sets, this role is for you. You will be responsible for supporting affordability programs with exposure to Senior Level executives. You will work closely with product managers, data scientists and business leaders to produce reports and analyses to help Amazon make strategic business decisions and better serve our customers in Mexico. To be successful in this role, you must be able to turn ambiguous business questions into clearly defined problems, develop quantifiable metrics, and implement Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes to support all data needs across the organization.

The candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Create the strategy and mechanisms for managing performance of a new portfolio of payment products, owning the design and development of ongoing metrics, analyses, dashboards etc. to drive key business decisions
• Lead an experimentation agenda to generate recommendations on how to maximize adoption and business impact
• Support cross-team initiatives impacting the portfolio, liaising with colleagues in retail and central teams as required
• Develop, implement, and automate processes to collect and manage usage data from multiple sources
• Derive insights from customer feedback and usage data and provide input into new product development

- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Familiarity with Python at the intermediate level- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
