Are you passionate about transforming both customer and seller experiences through data-driven insights? We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Experience Strategy team in Mexico City. In this role, you will orchestrate market research and competitive analysis programs across Amazon Mexico's. You'll coordinate research initiatives across Amazon Mexico, analyzing competitive insights and market trends to drive actionable improvements.
As Program Manager for Market Research, you will design and implement comprehensive research programs to evaluate and enhance Amazon Mexico's competitive position in both customer and seller experiences. You'll partner with local senior business leaders to develop measurement frameworks and drive implementation of experience enhancements based on marketplace insights. Critical to your success will be the ability to analyze competitive data, identify experience gaps, and recommend strategic adjustments to improve our position as both a shopping destination and a selling platform in Mexico. Additionally, you'll maintain and prioritize a portfolio of market research studies focused on the Mexican marketplace's ecosystem, ensuring efficient resource allocation and creating a single source of truth for competitive insights across both customer and seller experiences.
The ideal candidate will combine program management expertise with analytical rigor to help strengthen Amazon's competitive position as Mexico's Most Customer-Centric Company and preferred selling platform.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive Mexico Market Analysis: Evaluate Mexican retail industry trends and competitive forces to identify improvements to Customer and Seller Experience .
- Transform findings into actionable recommendations for Amazon Mexico.
- Centralize Research Initiatives: Coordinate and consolidate studies across organizational teams to eliminate redundancy and maintain a single source of truth for Mexico marketplace insights.
- Lead Strategic Studies: Direct local market research projects from conception to execution, including study design, data analysis, and recommendation development.
- Present findings to senior leadership
- Execute Financial Analysis: Analyze Mexico marketplace performance data to identify seller growth opportunities and efficiency gaps.
- Build Stakeholder Partnerships: Collaborate with business partners to align priorities and implement seller experience improvements in the Mexico marketplace.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Dynamic Arrays (e.g., FILTER, SORT), and IFERROR for efficient data analysis. Power Query and Power Pivot for data transformation and modeling. Dashboards, using Conditional Formatting. What-If tools. Familiar with Macros.- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
