With size comes complexity, and our Transportation Performance Analysts play a key role in ensuring that parcels are delivered both timely and efficiently. You will learn logistics from one of the world leaders in this field and will have the flexibility to design your own career path.

This position involves working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include Saturdays, night shifts and on-call duty.

Key job responsibilities
- Plan resources and manage disruption
- Report on metrics using performance dashboards
- Create automated reports for stakeholders and leadership teams
- Conduct root cause analysis and use insights to inform site process improvements
- Communicate and present information to the appropriate teams

A day in the life
This position is office-based, line with Amazon’s current work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Every day is different in this role. The work you’ll conduct is both proactive and reactive, requiring you to analyse the Services environment and work quickly to resolve any operational issues. You will find improvement opportunities and implement them in the network. About the team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we’re changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.- Relevant experience in an analytical tasks or projects, working with data
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)- A degree
- Experience of working with SQL, VBA Python, R, or other programming language
- Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership
- Experience in assessing operating processes and outcomes quantitatively and qualitatively
