What you’ll do 

  • Manage revenue recognition and reporting for a client portfolio, ensuring compliance with WPP policies and IFRS.
  • Oversee SOX compliance processes and review supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile financial systems (Maconomy, Sugar, Cartesis) monthly.
  • Lead weekly revenue meetings with Client Services, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor contract compliance, create crib sheets, and provide training to account teams.
  • Analyze data on profitability, utilization, and realization for the client portfolio.
  • Manage WIP balances, ensuring timely billing of all costs and fees.
  • Document and obtain approval for credit notes, revenue reversals, and write-offs.
  • Support intercompany agreements and new client setups, including due diligence.
  • Resolve AR queries and prepare monthly working capital reports.
  • Contribute to monthly management information packs and variance analysis.
  • Support the Commercial Director with budgeting, forecasting, proposals, and RFPs.
  • Assist with internal/external audits and new starter inductions.

 

 

What you’ll need 

 

  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (Maconomy preferred).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and SOX controls.
  • Solid technical knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
  • Business partnering and mentoring experience is a plus.
