Senior Software Engineer, Open Networks

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

• Adopt a growth approach to evaluate various technologies and Google products, and develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in the team.
• Contribute as a full-stack engineer, managing all technical aspects of development, including design, coding, unit testing, integration, and deployment.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with partners, external stakeholders, product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define the feature road-map and milestones.
