Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in Spain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales or business development within the automotive sector.
  • Experience working within the CPG industry or related sectors (e.g., retail, food & beverage, consumer electronics).
  • Experience managing complex relationships with major clients and excellent project management skills.
  • Experience in Digital Media, with a proven track record of managing large advertising budgets and campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google products, including Google's full suite of media and marketing platforms.

  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach and the ability to operate effectively in a large, complex, and evolving organization.

As an Industry Manager, you will partner with some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers and their agencies to understand their unique business challenges and collaboratively shape innovative solutions that drive their success in an evolving market.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and
industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how
Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build a knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
