Overview: The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic consultative selling and new opportunity creation. The role requires an individual who is a Strategic thinker & can balance long-term vision with short-term results. The individual should be impact & results-driven, has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and can lead high-level conversations with Joint Business Planning (JBP) approach at the executive level. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • This is a High Impact, strategic consultative sales & quota (target) carrying role. 
  • Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. & drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients  
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, with a focus on pipeline management and accurate revenue projections. 
  • Closely work with agency and client leads & planners influencing digital media spends.  
  • Forward looking business planning on potential opportunities to ensure a healthy pipelines and target achievement via proactive sales efforts and closing strategies. 
  • Lead JBP discussions with key clients to develop mutually beneficial strategies and long-term partnerships. 
  • Consultative selling & leading large client relationships strategically while aligning our & client’s business priorities  
  • Cultivate &  maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at key clients & agencies 
  • Continuously analyse industry trends, customer feedback, & competitive landscape toidentify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. 
  • Work with the cross functional stakeholders & leverage global & local insights to successfully navigate the market dynamics & customize your narrative with agencies & clients.  

  

Key Skills Required: 

  • Strong market connects with key advertisers & agencies in the North / NCR region 
  • Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a strong track record of exceeding targets. 
  • Ability to work on media strategy & plans with key clients and prepare customized strategic long term engagement approach aligned with client advertising priorities 
  • Expertise in leading Joint Business Planning (JBP) conversations with C-suite and senior-level decision-makers  
  • Strong forecasting skills, with the ability to provide accurate and actionable sales projections. 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. 
  • Ability to manage complex deals and prioritize multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a dynamic environment.
