What we do:

The Credit Analyst will play an integral role in in analyzing the financial viability of potential clients, employing financial analysis techniques, and providing ongoing portfolio analysis to monitor the current client base. This role requires a strategic thinker, to evaluate all the tasks and responsibilities of the Credit team to find and create efficiencies.

What you'll do:

  • Daily reporting and analysis of existing credit to ensure clients can spend within department risk assessments.
  • Analyze prospective clients using financial analysis techniques, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow measurements as well as industry factors and trade references.
  • Perform annual credit analysis on existing clients through payment history, credit reports, and EDGAR financial data.
  • Determine alternate methods of credit analysis when prospective clients do not meet minimum standards for approval.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality support of our customers.
  • Establish training sessions for cross-functional departments to create efficiencies with teams interacting with credit.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Global team to achieve departmental goals.

Who you are: 

  • 1-3 years Corporate Credit and Collections experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements, ratio analysis and various credit reporting agencies.
  • Knowledge of Basic Accounting and Collections procedures
  • Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Strong work ethic and self-discipline.
  • Experience with Oracle, JIRA, Confluence, GetPaid and Salesforce an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables) required. 
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$43,400β€”$79,500 USD
