Tax Manager

Who You Are: 

Nutrabolt is looking for a Tax Manager with strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity. Reporting to Director, Global Tax, the Tax Manager is primarily responsible for managing outsourced tax compliance (income and indirect). This person will also implement process improvements, work on international tax issues, and manage various tax projects. 

What You're Good At: 

• Manage global outsourced tax compliance (income and indirect tax).
• Prepare tax provision and supporting documents for returns.
• Calculate transfer pricing and update annual transfer pricing studies.
• Support income and indirect tax audits.
• Implement tax strategies and process improvements.
• Resolve tax notices, maintain tax calendars, and manage tax certificates.
• Prepare or review tax account reconciliations, create related journal entries, and provide variance analysis.
• Create and maintain tax process documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate tax risks and establish controls in compliance with SOX 404.
• Foster cross-functional and cross-departmental relationships.
• Other as assigned.

What You Contribute: 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of corporate tax experience with mix of industry and public accounting.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven analytical skills coupled with intellectual curiosity.
• Advanced Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A plus:

• CPA preferred.
• Experience supervising staff.
• ERP experience, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
• ASC 740 and SOX 404 knowledge
• US GAAP and tax regulations experience
