About the Role: 

We are expanding our Finance team at FareHarbor and are looking for a skilled Accounting Analyst to support our growing global operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting tasks and driving process improvements through automation and efficiency initiatives.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting tax reporting. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate accounting workflows, enhancing efficiency across our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist during month-end close activities, including reviewing reconciliations for fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and suspense accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring completeness and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support tax filings by gathering and providing necessary information to the tax team in Amsterdam
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and corporate accounting standards.
• Coordinate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes, addressing queries in a timely manner
• Meet ad-hoc reporting requests from multiple stakeholders, including financial controllers and business partners
• Work on process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline reconciliations, financial reporting, and transaction processing
• Perform cash clearing and suspense account reclassifications, ensuring accurate cash flow reporting
• Support revenue reporting, adhering to month-end close timelines
• Maintain Aging Reports and process payments received by clients
• Issue invoices as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, or other ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data.
• Experience in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Passion for process improvements and automation, with experience implementing efficiencies in accounting workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
