Solutions Engineering Senior Manager - India

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our Indian solutions engineering team in the delivery of our energy storage projects across the Asia Pacific Region. The person will have extensive experience in leading engineering of projects that integrate electrical equipment into grid connected energy systems, delivered on a turnkey basis.

The Solutions Engineering Team is responsible for engineering delivery from the point at which the delivery contract is executed, through to the point at which the facility is handed over to the operations team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the Indian Solutions Engineering Team that provide the engineering support during the delivery of our energy storage projects

• In conjunction with the VP APAC Engineering and Commissioning, and the broader APAC Engineering Team, develop and execute the regional strategy for Solutions Engineering

• Be responsible for the safe and timely provision of engineering deliverables to support project delivery

• Provide technical expertise and guidance for engineering during project delivery, including compliance with local codes and standards

• Remain updated on technical developments and best practice in the industry, and adapt strategies to suit

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes and streamline project timelines.

• Be a point of contact for customers relating to engineering forming part of our overall delivery

• Establish relationships with key external stakeholders in the delivery of projects, including contractors, equipment vendors, network providers and utilities

• Establish relationships with key internal stakeholders including the sales engineering team, the project management team, the deployment andcommissioning teams, the services team and the global product and technology team

• Maintain strong communication skills, with ability to represent Fluence in person and through written material with key customers, regulatory and other officials

Role Requirements

• In order to fulfil the responsibilities for collaboration across the APAC teams and delivery of projects in different APAC countries of operation, frequent travel within the APAC region is expected

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably electrical

• Proven leadership experience

• Strong network and relationships with key stakeholders in the energy industry within the region

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Delivery experience in Australia is preferred
