So, what’s the role all about?
The Software Engineer in Test designs, develops, tests, and maintains the NICE inContact software platform. Key responsibilities include all tiers of the NICE inContact technology, including (but not limited to) design and development tests for NICE CXone products and features, functional testing, load testing, code reviews, resolving test defects encountered during the QA cycle, supporting production environments, and assisting other software engineers in a team environment utilizing agile development processes.

We’re on a mission to replace our flagship legacy system with a flexible microservices platform. Our goal is to create a smooth experience for all customers, where small businesses and large companies get to enjoy the same quality service using our scalable solutions.
We’re also working to speed up delivering value to our customers by optimizing our deploys of the updates and new features. This includes switching from legacy systems to a unified platform. As part of it, quality is essential, and we're focusing on improved testing methods and coverage to ensure successful migration.
Our focus on quality also means that bugs and system stability are always prioritized higher than new features and our teams swarm to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Our systems are large and complex, and we know that we cannot achieve high levels quality, stability and availability without high levels of test automation and extensive load testing. Our teams are T-shaped and engineers learn different roles to stay flexible and ensure that the team succeeds together.
