Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising, sales/operations management, or planning in retail, finance, or travel.
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-stakeholder engagement, including executive or C-level customers, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver results for clients.
  • Knowledge in one or more key industries (e.g., retail, finance, or travel).
  • Knowledge of performance and branding advertising and traditional/contemporary/online marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, including GMP, and the key competitor landscape across traditional and digital media advertising, including retail media, programmatic exchanges, TV, social media and online marketplaces/OTA.

In this role, you will lead a team of Account Managers and Account Executives that partners with Retail, Travel, Finance, and Media and Entertainment. You will ensure internal cross-functional alignment by influencing teams that provide the insights and technical support.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Present Google advertising solutions tailored to clients' marketing objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partners understanding their business needs, and develop and execute joint long-term strategies with clients, leading cross-functional teams for collaboration.
  • Manage a team and collaborate with regional sales to focus on existing and new clients, fostering relationships.
  • Build an understanding of Google advertising products and their application to diverse marketing goals.
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations.
