Customer Engineer, Infrastructure Modernization, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with networking concepts such as software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers and firewalls.
  
• Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
  
• Experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and pen testing.
• Ability to communicate in Romanian fluently as this is a customer facing role.

• Inspire customers and peers to solve difficult problems with innovative solutions leveraging an excellent set of technical competences.
• Manage the technical relationship with Google’s customers (e.g., managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources).
• Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer and partner environments.
• Prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to highlight the Google Cloud Platform value proposition, using techniques that include whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, and request for information response documents.
• Focus on Public Sector customers across Central and Eastern Europe. Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
