About the Role  

Reporting to the CFO/COO & MD, this is a senior management position directing and developing the financial team that secures the client financial business side of our relationship.  The individual will be clearly identified as a high potential employee, ultimately a logical candidate for senior-most financial and operations positions within Ogilvy. The role of the Client Finance Director demands attention to detail that removes the possibility of careless errors and will work with the team to maintain and continually improve quality procedures. The Finance Director will be party to sensitive company and personnel information where a high level of confidentially will be required.

What You’ll Do 

  • Responsible for SOX, international and local law regulation of financial/tax/payroll activities compliance

  • Ensures compliance of financial policies of the Group; coordination, preparation and arrangement of yearly full-scope external audit

  • Organizing internal audit procedures

  • Proposing improvements to internal financial processes and controls; implementation of procedures and policies

  • Managing internal control environment: SOX, internal WPP audit, self- assessment

What You’ll Need  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in auditing, risk management, or financial compliance, ideally within multinational organizations or agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks (international and local).
  • Proven track record in managing external and internal audits, including full-scope audits.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
