Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator

GenScript Europe division, headquartered in Rijswijk, Netherlands, with a branch office in Oxford, UK, was established in 2019 to serve as a hub for commercial, technical support and logistic in the European and UK region. To better serve our EU customers, we are going to build our laboratory in Europe in the near future.

About the Position:

• Work arrangement: 4 days on-site in Rijswijk, South Holland, Netherlands, and 1 day working remotely.
• Working hours: 40 hours per week.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our hiring process by identifying top talent and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending job offers and coordinating the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates and hiring teams.
• Ensure each new joiner receives the support they need during their onboarding process, including preparation of onboarding materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and facilitating a smooth transition into the company.
• Manage employee documentation such as contracts and amendments, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Handle information changes and maintain up-to-date employee records.
• Serve as a point of contact for new hires and employees, addressing inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and other HR matters.
• Process HR-related invoices and reimbursement documentation. Assist in administering employee benefits, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies regarding onboarding.
• Assist in documenting and implementing processes and guidelines across the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and the overall candidate and employee experience.
• Coordinate and support employee training and engagement events, as well as in-person team gatherings to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Main Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience in Recruitment, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling company.
• Fluent in English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and establish strong relationships at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to use discretion and handle highly sensitive information.
• Passion for People, with a focus on creating a positive candidate and employee experience and contributing to a mission-driven culture.
• Experience in event coordination or administrative support.
• Currently residing in and eligible to work in the Netherlands.
