(Sr.) EU Regional Marketing Specialist, Biology

GenScript Europe division, headquartered in Rijswijk, Netherlands, with a branch office in Oxford, UK, was established in 2019 to serve as a hub for commercial, technical support and logistic in the European and UK region. In our ongoing commitment to enhancing service for our EU clients, we are planning to expand our facilities within Europe in the near future.

Job Scope

The EU Regional Marketing Specialist will join the US & EU Regional Marketing Team to generate leads through campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and virtual events. The EU Regional Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and attending some of the tradeshows in EU and UK for the reagent services business within the Life Science Group. Moreover, the Regional Marketing Specialist is required to have strong understanding of the biotechnology landscape in UK and EU and lead nurturing process to increase brand awareness as well as identify qualified leads for sales and marketing teams to drive up revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategize and implement marketing plans to increase brand awareness and generate marketing/sales qualified leads through events and campaigns.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase engagement and conversions across different digital marketing platforms, including but not limited to social campaigns, webinars and email campaigns
• Content creation for our social media platforms (mainly LinkedIn)
• Collaborate with the global Product Marketing Department for campaign management and implementation.
• Organize and attend and tradeshows in EU and UK region.
• Analyze tradeshows/webinars to evaluate the return of investment for each marketing event.
• Calculate and monitor marketing expenses and budget while keeping track of performance and ROI.
• Utilize marketing tools and tactics to elevate the GenScript brand and generate demand for all service lines.

Main Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience in biotech/pharma, preferably in project management, marketing, and/or business development in the UK and EU.
• Master’s degree in Biology or a Life Science is required.
• Strong understanding of CRO and CDMO businesses in the UK & EU.
• Fluent in English required. Spanish and/or French speaking preferred additionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on mentality and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes and challenges in the marketing landscape.
• Ability to travel for tradeshows and conferences, up to 30%
