We are looking for an enthusiastic, technical, and driven Technical Writer to join the DevOps core writing team in India to help maintain and update developer-oriented documentation for our industry-leading DevOps solution. The successful candidate should be able to build relationships, feel comfortable proactively seeking answers, and enjoys solving problems.
As a Technical Writer at JFrog you will…
- Write clear, structured, concise, and high-quality end-user documentation, make sure content is up-to-date with new feature releases, and adheres to established style guidelines
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other Subject Matter Experts to understand requirements, create outlines, and execute updates
- Be able to understand and communicate the value of specific products and features, and produce technical documentation to support the installation and configuration of JFrog products
- Track features and enhancements using Jira and other tools, identifying requirements and writing new content to accompany releases
To be a Technical Writer at JFrog you need…
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in an enterprise software development environment
- English at native level
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain key relationships
- Excellent writing skills with an ability to structure content effectively and write clearly
- Ability to independently install features, work with a CLI, use APIs, and document for a developer-oriented audience
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Capable of working accurately and quickly with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines, doing what’s required to release content on time, including occasionally jumping online at less conventional times
