The Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) Vendor and Employee Capabilities Team seeks an innovative People Manager with extensive program management expertise to lead our learning experience initiatives for Amazon vendors and JP Stores employees. It's a unique opportunity where you can influence and up-level JP Stores-wide capabilities through your people and program management expertise for capability development space while gaining broad exposure to Amazon leaders across the org. This role supports Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company and best employer.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead a Learning Experience Design team to develop and scale innovative learning programs
• Design and execute comprehensive learning experience (LX) strategy, encompassing journey design, curriculum development, and content optimization
• Drive end-to-end program lifecycle over Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate (ADDIE) phases, including managing Learning Management System (LMS) and driving marketing activities to maximize program adoption
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with business units and SMEs to capture requirements and scale knowledge
• Own learning impact measurement framework to drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights
A day in the life
• Interface with vendors, employees, and stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements
• Execute benchmarking studies and analyze learning trends
• Prepare and present business reviews and strategic documentation including PRFAQ and Operational Planning (OP).
• Coordinate training sessions and team development initiatives.
• Measure the deliverable effectiveness.

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Fluent in English and Japanese (both oral/written)
- People Management- Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience contributing to Stores learning program development (VM training, PM training, BS training, onboarding, functional training, etc.) as a Product Family POC.
