Team Overview

The Global Communications team at Appier leads external communications and supports strategic internal initiatives, shaping the corporate narrative and driving alignment with our strategic goals. We're seeking a dynamic Communications Manager for the US Market to join our fast-paced team. This role will be instrumental in enhancing our corporate reputation, building brand equity across a highly competitive market, and advancing our business objectives through strategic communication initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, innovation, and communication. At Appier, our leaders are hands-on and thrive in a fast-evolving environment. You should have proven experience conceptualizing, planning, agenda setting, and executing impactful communication campaigns while working collaboratively across teams. Reporting to the VP of Global Communications, you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, and Sales to develop cohesive and compelling communication strategies.

About the Role

[Responsibilities & Duties]

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies that align with Appier's corporate objectives and brand positioning in the US market.
  • Support business growth initiatives by identifying communication opportunities and addressing potential challenges.

Corporate Reputation Management

  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and Sales team to develop strategies that enhance Appier's corporate reputation and build brand affinity, fostering communication synergy.
  • Leverage agenda-setting capabilities to drive the development of innovative campaigns that highlight Appier's technological leadership and innovation through owned and earned media.

Media & Stakeholder Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the technology, business, and trade sectors.
  • Ensure consistent and impactful messaging for Appier’s communications in the US market.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and other internal teams to align communication strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide insights and feedback on US market trends to help inform global communication strategies.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, with a proven track record in technology, consumer, or business sectors.
    • Strong understanding of the US media landscape and experience cultivating media relationships.
    • Experience working with global organizations, contributing to cross-functional projects, and collaborating effectively within teams.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to handle complex challenges, make sound decisions, and ensure effective collaboration across disciplines.
    • Passion for AI, as well as the advertising and marketing industries.
    • Ability to contribute to the success of high-performing teams by fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and maintaining a growth mindset.
  • Education:
    • Minimum BA or BS degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
