Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships or management consulting in the ad tech, programmatic advertising, mobile app ads, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile apps, and knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, including an understanding of ad serving technology, exchanges, Supply and Demand-Side Platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product and go-to-market teams to raise feature requests and client needs.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly, work independently in a rapidly moving environment, and manage a variety of ad hoc requests.
  • Superb client management and relationship building skills.

Global Partnerships Sellside is a partner-facing organization working closely with a wide variety of publishers and app developers to help them leverage Google's ad technology products to manage and monetize their inventory. The Apps & Gaming team specifically partners with app developers across all verticals including social, gaming, and streaming music so that these partners can grow digital advertising business as a primary or secondary business stream. In addition to promoting their digital assets through Google’s technology suite (including ad serving, search, display, apps, and video products), Sellside also works with other product and business teams to implement strategic partnerships across Google (including liaising with Google Cloud, LCS, Play, etc.).

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Achieve business goals for a dedicated partner portfolio by maximizing partner's advertising growth through adoption/usage of Google’s products. 
  • Develop the business generation strategy and strategic account plans for partners within the portfolio, including growth opportunity identification, action planning and execution of implementation plans.
  • Lead partner meetings, both virtual and in person, for new product offerings and business analyses to identify expansion joint growth areas.
  • Facilitate and sign Google Ad Manager agreements, while helping partners navigate evolving privacy and regulatory environments for digital advertising.
  • Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of the sell-side ads suite and its competitive advantages. Proactively monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback to Google’s Product and GTM teams to improve Google's offerings.
