Staff Software Engineer, Google Cloud, Open Networks

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in launching and testing software products, with 3 years of experience with software design, and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• Experience with full-stack including Quality, Infrastructure, and Feature Development, with knowledge of AI/ML.
• Knowledge of cloud technology and reference architectures.
• Ability to integrate public policy with business strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to executives and non-technical leaders.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
• Create scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions to meet the diverse and evolving needs of customers.
• Contribute as a full-stack engineer, managing technical aspects of development, including design, coding, unit testing, integration, and deployment.
• Collaborate with partners and external stakeholders, product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define the feature road-map and milestones.
