Your Impact  

As a QA Tester - RF Sensor Technologies (m/f/x), you will be primarily responsible for supporting the testing and development of Dedrone's RF sensor software, reproducing and analyzing identified issues, and ensuring high-quality performance across our systems. You will be directly involved with the development team, bringing a passion for stable, user-friendly, and high- performance software. Your contributions will help shape the reliability of our RF sensor technology, making a significant impact on airspace security.  

 
What You’ll Do  
Location: Onsite at our Kassel office 

Reports to: Director of Quality Engineering 

  • Actively support the development of Dedrone’s RF sensor software through testing, helping to reproduce and narrow down identified issues. 
  • Document your work in a SCRUM-based issue tracking system. 
  • Develop in-depth functional tests for individual components of the Dedrone RF sensor software. 
  • Monitor development and test systems, as well as test hardware, and optimize them. 
  • Assist in conducting system, release, and field tests. 
  • Support the creation and maintenance of automated tests. 
  • Collaborate with the Tech Support team to troubleshoot and track issues. 

 

What You Bring 

  • You have completed an electrical engineering degree or vocational training in an electrical engineering field. 
  • You have a quick grasp of concepts, strong technical understanding, a high sense of quality, and a structured and analytical approach to work. 
  • You are capable of diving into problems and understanding their underlying causes. 
  • You have a strong command of English, both spoken and written. 
  • Ideally, you have some knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash. 
  • Ideally, you already have experience with Linux systems and operating drones.
