Our company was founded building the TASER device which led to a full suite of hardware and software solutions to help law enforcement be more effective and bring transparency to the public. With a firm foundation in police departments around the world, we are now building a new business to improve efficiency, accountability, and equity in the criminal justice system. In this role, you will ensure that our product operations are streamlined, scalable, and aligned with Axon’s high standards, enabling TASER devices to perform optimally in the field.

 

Your Impact 

As the TASER Program Manager-, you will be responsible for establishing and supporting distributors as fully operational and knowledgeable representatives of Axon’s TASER products, ensuring they are equipped with the product knowledge, operational readiness, and support systems to successfully manage TASER devices in their regions. You will be the glue between the regional product managers, sales teams, and our distributors.

 

What You’ll Do 

Position Title: TASER Program Manager (Channel/Partner Manager - TASER Global - L7)
Location: Scottsdale, AZ OR Boston, MA OR Atlanta, GA
Reports to: Sr Manager, TASER Global
Direct Reports: None (IC role)

 

  • Lead the onboarding of international distributors for TASER products, ensuring they are fully trained on TASER-specific operations, product handling, and customer support protocols.
  • Establish distributors as fully autonomous and capable TASER product representatives, ensuring they have the technical knowledge, documentation, and tools needed to support, distribute, and maintain TASER devices.
  • Provide ongoing TASER product training, ensuring distributors stay updated on new TASER technologies, product updates, and support requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Axon teams to deliver comprehensive training and facilitate technical product setup for distributors, ensuring they are fully prepared to manage TASER product operations, maintenance, and customer support from initial deployment through ongoing post-sale support, including Tier 0 - Tier 2 issues including RMA establishment processes.
  • Develop and maintain TASER-specific training materials, including product manuals, troubleshooting guides, and other resources to support distributors in managing TASER product operations throughout each region.
  • Collaborate with TASER product operations, supply chain, and customer support teams to ensure smooth global distribution and support for TASER products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors for TASER product operations, addressing product-specific inquiries, resolving logistical concerns, and ensuring operational alignment across global regions.
  • Work closely with Axon’s customer operations and technical support teams to address any TASER-specific challenges and ensure distributors have streamlined access to necessary assistance.
  • Track and report on distributor operational readiness, technical support performance, RMA activities, and training completion, providing actionable insights to ensure distributors maintain alignment with Axon’s TASER product support and compliance standards.

 

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in distributor or channel management, training coordination, or relationship management, preferably in technical or hardware products.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally (up to 20%).
  • Proven experience in distributor onboarding, with a strong focus on operational readiness, product training, and ongoing support.
  • Familiarity with training processes, tiered support systems, and technical product setup, especially for complex, high-impact products like TASER devices.
  • Excellent ability to manage relationships with international distributors, with a focus on ensuring technical compliance and operational alignment with company standards.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to track distributor performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear and concise training, documentation, and support to distributors.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify operational challenges and implement solutions quickly.
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience is encouraged but not required

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 62,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 119,000 in the highest geographic market.  The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
