HelloFresh is looking for a strategic, data-driven, and solution-focused Senior Manager, Outbound Marketing Strategy to lead and optimize our high-impact and high-potential outbound marketing channel. You will own the outbound call center channel strategy and performance for millions of customers across all our brands. This role is responsible for shaping and scaling this critical yet underutilized channel by developing, testing, and implementing strategies to improve customer experience, optimize performance, and enhance operational efficiency. You will bring strong analytical skills to identify new business opportunities to engage with our customers via outbound calls based on deep understanding of customer behaviors, their pain points, as well as our business updates and product innovations. Additionally, you will establish outbound calls as a key source of customer sentiment insights and leverage those learnings to drive improvements across marketing, product, and customer experience. In this high visibility role, you will closely collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, including Legal, Customer Care, Operations, Procurement, as well as external vendors to drive a long-term sustainable business impact.

You will … 

  • Develop and own the strategic vision and roadmap for the outbound call channel, focusing on scalability, profitability and compliance
  • Design and execute outbound communication campaigns. Own and steer campaign performance to maximize scale, ROI and efficiency. 
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America and International counterparts to align outbound call strategies with broader business objectives. 
  • Manage and partner with external call center vendors to deliver high performance in line with our channel and business objectives.
  • Develop, experiment and optimize new use cases, segmentation, messaging, offers, and customer experience strategies. 
  • Develop at-scale analyses and communication pathways that will allow customer insights from outbound calls to inform product strategies and broader marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements in outbound calling operations.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data, translating insights into actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence by building effective processes, and defining key performance metrics. 
  • Continuously challenge the status quo, defining and developing strategic initiatives to improve channel performance and processes through analysis, business case creation, new mechanisms, and project management. 
  • Evaluate and implement tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of outbound call channel operations.

  • Strategic thinker and creative problem solver. 
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a solid understanding of marketing analytics, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative customer data into meaningful insights to inform strategies, optimize performance and drive innovation.
  • Project management and operational execution skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and working across multiple stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships and optimizing performance.
  • Strong ownership and drive to deliver results, with experience prioritizing for highest impact and making trade-off decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You have… 

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields with a strong academic record. MBA Preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, growth / performance marketing, or marketing analytics, preferably at a high-growth organization
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and business acumen 
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize initiatives to maximize business impact
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Experience in Google Sheets, and/or Excel 
  • Experience in outbound sales, call center operations and/or telemarketing is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in outbound marketing (TCPA, GDPR, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to use SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Tableau is a plus
  • Experience managing customer lifecycle and segmentation strategies is a plus
