THE WORK:

The RippleNet Payments team is at the forefront of delivering on this vision. We are revolutionizing the $155 trillion cross border payments market by leveraging digital assets to implement a faster, cheaper and more reliable cross border payments platform.
We are looking for Software Engineers passionate about solving challenging problems in the cross-border payments space. We are passionate about the growth of our engineers and place a premium on career development. You will have a high degree of accountability and responsibility from Day 1.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support an engineering team with high visibility and direct impact on the company's balance sheet.
- Establish team objectives and quarterly plans in alignment with business and organizational goals
- Work with stakeholders across the organization stakeholders across the organization such as Product, Program, Delivery to realize the vision of Internet of Value.
- Establish engineering processes and best practices to help the team thrive.
- Mentor engineers on team, recruit and hire engineers
- Support career growth and development of engineers by providing mentorship and coaching.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 8+ years of hands-on Software Development experience building large scale distributed systems, out of which 4+ years in Java or similar (Golang, Scala etc.)
- 2+ years of people management experience managing 8 or more software development engineers
- Experience delivering complex enterprise grade software ( experience with transactional systems in finance or trading domains is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrive on autonomy and responsibility.
- Track record of recruiting and mentoring world-class teams
