So, what’s the role all about?
We are looking for a skilled QA professional with a strong background in testing distributed systems. The ideal candidate can work independently, has strong experience with test automation, and is self-driven to ensure high-quality software delivery.
How will you make an impact?
Design and execute test plans for functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects effectively.
Participate in code reviews and advocate for QA best practices.
Ensure efficient use of tools and processes, including version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve quality and reliability.
Have you got what it takes?
Preferably associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
4-7 years of experience in software development, including testing and automation for distributed systems.
Proven experience in Salesforce testing.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Excellent scripting and coding skills for creating and maintaining automated tests using JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress or Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) for managing distributed systems data is an advantage.
Experience in automation testing of REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to collaborate with development teams, designers, and other departments to ensure tests align with business objectives.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, CloudWatch) is a plus.
Experience with performance testing using tools like K6 for load simulation and traffic monitoring.
Experience in contact centre domain
