We are seeking an experienced Brand Safety leader to join Twitch's Sales team in Europe. In this strategic role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing brand safety initiatives that protect both advertiser interests and Twitch's community values. You'll serve as the primary liaison between our advertising partners and internal stakeholders in markets outside of North America, ensuring Twitch remains a trusted platform for brands while maintaining its unique community culture. You will be partnering with a counterpart in the US to drive global initiatives and practices, but will be expected to be the SME for regions outside North America.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of Twitch's brand safety strategy for the European and international advertising markets
* Partner with the North America Brand Safety team, and key stakeholders across Twitch Trust & Safety, Legal, Product, and Comms teams to formulate and enhance platform policies that address advertiser concerns
* Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, representing Twitch in brand safety discussions and forums
* Drive educational initiatives for brands and agencies about Twitch's brand safety measures and capabilities in collaboration with your US counterpart to ensure consistency globally
* Drive internal educational initiatives to ensure the Amazon Ads sales teams are versed on the topic of Brand Safety and what this looks like on Twitch
* Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on brand safety matters, particularly during critical incidents
* Collaborate with Product teams on brand suitability tools, as well as third-party ad verification partnerships and integrations when necessary. Foundational knowledge of Brand Safety expectations across different markets is intrinsic as you will be delivering feedback through a global lens.
* Develop and implement crisis management protocols for brand safety incidents in your regions
* Create and maintain documentation of brand safety policies, procedures, and best practices

A day in the life
- Work closely with cross functional partners in product and GTM to build and own the elements of the long-term brand safety strategy and initiatives that benefit Twitch’s community of advertisers
- Deliver on the vision of Twitch being a safe place for brands to participate in live-streamed content.
- Assess and adopt best practices that focus on brand safety elements, including viewability, ad fraud, and the context in which advertising appears.
- Influence product teams to build and improve 1P and 3P safety and suitability solutions based on customer feedback, own business relationships with 3P vendors, and be an SME on client expectations for ad verification solutions.
- Support go-to-market strategy for brand safety tools and controls
- Serve as a point of contact for safety crisis escalations that impact advertisers.
- Maintain and optimize external and internal brand safety content hubs.
- Participate in regular meetings with teams in EMEA and APAC time zones. Partner with regional sales teams in Latin America, EMEA and APAC to understand market-specific needs and use it to inform brand safety priorities.
- Engage internal stakeholders, maintain timelines and ensure commitments and deliverables are met.

This is a dedicated role within our Ad Sales organization designed to drive the work that is centered around advertisers. You will educate and communicate our Brand Safety philosophy, approach, policies and enforcement processes to our business partners.
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to digital safety.
- Hands-on experience in brand safety on the agency, platform or brand side.
- Basic technical understanding and experience with 3P verification vendors and their solutions.
- Fluency in English- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Experience in digital advertising, social and UGC space, content moderation, trust & safety, or related fields
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex stakeholder relationships at senior levels
- Deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystem and brand safety challenges in social and UGC space
- Experience in crisis management and rapid decision-making under pressure
- Knowledge of EU digital advertising regulations and industry standards
- Experience with live streaming or gaming platforms preferred
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus
