Creative Services is a global organization within Amazon Advertising that builds at scale advertising experiences for our customers and advertisers. This position will be responsible for implementing a unified work stream to support video and display advertising campaigns for both managed and self-service advertisers. The ideal candidate will have creative management or design experience in the advertising industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and problem solve on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will possess both an analytical background that enables you to manage quantitative planning and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about design workflow initiatives. They will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection, analysis, and creative fluency. The Creative Resource Manager is responsible for ensuring multiple sites meet occupancy metrics by future and real-time staffing planning, workload balancing and queue management, and overall management of workflows across the team. The CRM serves as a resource and advisor to our Global Design Managers, Operation Team, Forecasting Team, and Capacity Planning.
The CRM’s primary responsibility is to ensure daily assignment allocation within SJO by working closely with Capacity Planning, local site design managers, and designers. This includes but is not limited to identifying and mitigating potential campaign launch risks and assisting in assignment and/or advertiser escalations. Other primary duties include coordinating site staffing needs, including the reporting and analysis of site head count numbers per upcoming forecasted assignment volumes, developing/maintaining a series of creative assignment queues within salesforce, and driving special projects designed to maximize efficiency and increase production and quality.
The CRM is expected to positively represent SJO within the global team as an engaged and active team member in achieving promised SLAs and quality metrics. To ensure we are efficient and prudent in the utilization of our staff by working alongside all levels of the SJO site and leadership teams. To effectively manage the needs of our external customers while balancing the needs of our internal customers. To make data-driven decisions in all of our processes and work expectations.
A day in the life
The Creative Resource Manager will balance creative needs against executional timelines to staff projects appropriately and set the team up for success. This individual will have the ability to anticipate workloads based on forecast, see around corners and pull in the resources necessary to deliver best in class advertising. They will manage Salesforce creative request intake and assign resources to incoming campaigns. To do this they will understand the workflow and requirements of all deliverables we produce. They will lead capacity planning discussions and develop efficiency improvements. They will work closely with Designers and Managers, Program Managers, Sales, and the Campaign Management team to develop best practices. This is a unique opportunity to deliver content at scale, while driving production efficiency, and working closely with teams to evolve the future of Amazon Advertising.

As the creative team within Amazon Ads, the Display Creative Services (DCS) team supports the creation of ad and brand content across Amazon properties such as Amazon.com, Twitch and Amazon-owned devices (Fire TV, Fire Tablet), for top advertisers worldwide. We strive to provide the best end-to-end customer experiences to all our customers, including advertisers and end users, collaborating with global creative campaign managers and sales teams to achieve this goal. We strive to continuously innovate on our processes, enabling us to be the most scalable and customer centric operations team.- 3+ years’ experience in resource/project management or design at an agency or in-house creative team
- Deep understanding of the creative process and creative skill sets
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Salesforce Proficiency (dashboard and report creation)
- Proficient in Excel
- Proven track record creating workflows, communication processes and data tracking- Experience working with global brands and teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, advertising or business Salesforce proficiency
