As our Legal Operations Specialist, you will partner with the legal team to implement and drive ideas that improve the way we function. Among other responsibilities, you will focus on managing our technical systems (such as our contract repository), creating and maintaining records, serving as the initial point-of-contact on key operational workstreams, and more. We are looking for an ambitious and innovative individual who is process-minded, thrives in ambiguity, and is eager to develop professionally in an in-house legal environment.

This role is based in our San Francisco, CA office with a hybrid in-office work requirement of at least 3 days per week. This role will report to the Senior Paralegal and Legal Operations Manager.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Maintain and manage key legal systems, including our contract management and brand enforcement systems
  • Manage internal processes for legal SLAs and SOPs
  • Provide frontline operational support for cross-functional business teams–including Community Management and People
  • Contribute to the development of enablement resources for legal and business teams.
  • Spearhead the sourcing, implementation and maintenance of technology-based solutions to drive efficiencies
  • Provide operational support to the legal team as needed.

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 2+ years experience as an in-house legal operations specialist, paralegal and/or contracts manager
  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • You are familiar with how to leverage technology and tooling (such as Asana and Slack) to drive efficiencies and amplify impact
  • You are eager to develop professional as part of an in-house legal team 

Compensation Overview

At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate’s starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. Compensation: $110, 600- $117,600. The base salary posted is within the compensation range for this role. This range reflects base pay only and does not include, equity, or benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
