Amazon's Heavy and Bulky Team seeks a dynamic Program Manager with a strong delivery record and extensive project management experience to spearhead strategic and tactical cross-functional operations and network design projects. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives for launching AMXL Last Mile and sort center facilities, encompassing responsibilities such as scoping and creating comprehensive project plans, developing and implementing efficient processes, identifying and mitigating schedule risks, coordinating and driving project execution, and communicating project status, risks, and changes to senior management. Essential skills include cross-team coordination, advanced project management, and executive-level presentation abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Supporting the development of launch strategy
• Partnering with other teams to source, allocate and coordinate launch resources
• Work with stakeholders to align responsibilities and mitigate risks to project execution

• Innovating to improve processes and continuously removing cost from our operations
A day in the life
The AMXL LM Launch team supports the AMXL operations team in expanding Last Mile (LM) and sort centers. This expansion aims to improve pincode coverage, accommodate Jupiter volumes, and optimize the network. The team coordinates project plans and monitors execution across various stakeholders, including business, technology, design, procurement, and operations teams.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
