Facilities Manager

💚We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of real estate development projects from inception to completion. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Real Estate Facilities Manager will also be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and resources, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, project management, and construction, with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously across EMEA, NORAM and APAC regions. 

📝 Typical Responsibilities

• Service Delivery & Quality: Oversees facilities services across all campuses, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost control.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensures compliance with regulations, risk assessments, and workplace safety for staff, vendors, and visitors.
• Administration & Reporting: Assists the Global Facility Manager with reporting, financial processes, and compliance.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Manages subcontractors, vendors, and contract negotiations for all Groupon sites.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensures high-quality service delivery across regions, both technical and soft services.
• Budget & Cost Control: Supports budgeting, SLA compliance, and cost optimization.
• Asset & Resource Management: Optimizes resources, minimizes costs, and ensures efficient asset management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all sites meet legal, environmental, and health & safety standards.
• Strategy & Process Improvement: Implements best practices, audits systems, and supports long-term facility planning.
• Technical Support: Assists engineering teams with maintenance and preventive management tasks.

💪🏼 Requirements

• Master Degree in a relevant area or (see relevant work experience)
• Ideally having 5+ years of relevant or professional experience
• A plus if gained in a dynamic, international environment
• Good communicator with strong customer focus able to establish and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on different level
• Good knowledge of English min. B2 level  and fluency in the local languag
• Good organizing skills, project experience
• Ability to follow the process & rules apply them efficiently and effectively in day to day tasks
• Ability to comply with any Special Economic zone guidelines and ensure proper documentation is completed and maintained
• Previous Management experience managing and mentoring small teams both local & remote
• Ability to read floor plans and construction documents
• Proficient with the following Software and tools: Google suite, Microsoft suite and has experience working with Freshworks (or other ticketing software, Smartsheets)
• similar project management software, Coupa (or other procurement based software)
