Position Overview:

Groupon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Head of Talent Acquisition to drive our worldwide recruitment strategies. This leadership role will be pivotal in enhancing our existing talent acquisition framework, ensuring alignment with Groupon's business objectives and growth plans. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies in a fast-paced, multinational environment while working closely with established regional Team Leads across India, EMEA, and the US.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy, leveraging existing team structures to optimise hiring efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Management & Development: Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the regional Talent Acquisition Team Leads, ensuring alignment and consistency in hiring practices across all locations.

Project Management: Lead and oversee global recruitment initiatives and projects, ensuring effective execution, tracking progress, and optimising workflows across multiple regions.

Employer Branding: Enhance Groupon’s employer brand to attract diverse and high-caliber talent, leveraging various channels and innovative approaches tailored to regional market needs.

Process Optimisation: Continuously assess and refine recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and an excellent candidate experience while incorporating regional best practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and department heads to understand workforce needs and develop tailored, data-driven recruitment strategies that address business priorities.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process, working closely with regional teams to develop tailored approaches to building a diverse workforce.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise analytics and recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, identify areas for improvement, and make informed, data-backed decisions.

Technology & Innovation: Ensure effective utilisation of the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and other recruitment technologies to streamline processes and enhance the overall talent acquisition experience.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global recruitment teams.
  • Proven experience in scaling and enhancing talent acquisition strategies in a multinational organisation with decentralised recruitment operations.
  • Strong understanding of global labor markets and the ability to adapt strategies to different cultural contexts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to manage change effectively and drive process improvements across multiple regions.

Location:

This position will be based in Chicago, USA and 2 days/week office attendance is mandatory. The role will require close collaboration with regional Talent Acquisition Team Leads and may involve occasional international travel to other Groupon locations.

What We Offer:

  1. Compensation: The compensation package for this role includes a base salary ranging from of $160,000-190,000 + bonus

  2. Benefits: Comprehensive employee benefits starting the 1st of the month following your start date.
