Bounteous is looking for a multi-solution platform architect with deep technical expertise in marketing technology platforms to join our growing Digital Experience Platforms practice as Director of Marketing Technology. Although this role will be able to work with various platforms, experience with Adobe Experience Cloud is required. This position necessitates knowledge of varying industry trends, campaign management & journey orchestration best practices, and marketing technologies, so the ideal candidate should desire to continually learn, improve, and apply subject matter expertise to individual client needs and sales situations.
This role will initially serve as a marketing technology consultant for one of Bounteous's strategic healthcare clients. It is responsible for partnering with the client team to drive the overarching web digital strategy across the relevant marketing technology products and processes. Currently, the teams are not aligned on processes, governance, best practices, and tool usage, and this role will help define, enable, and adopt new ways of working in these areas. Other top priorities for this client are: establishing a MarTech COE, improving adoption and usage of Adobe Workfront, overall process improvement, defining product and process ownership, reducing time to market for marketing and digital activities, evaluation and optimization of the use of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target.
Outside delivery responsibilities, this role will also be positioned to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery teams. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients and platform partners, primarily focusing on optimizing customer experiences and marketing strategies through the effective use of platforms. A strong understanding of broader data and marketing technologies to design scalable architectures, methods, and techniques for successful platform implementations and launches is critical to success.
The role partners with client service and business development teams to identify and expand account opportunities, creating solutions that maximize customer value through marketing technology platforms. A person in this role serves as a trusted advisor to our clients in leveraging their platform solutions and helping them maximize the value they drive from their tools - not just through initial implementation but on an ongoing basis. They also help set up our delivery teams for success and oversee delivery as necessary to meet client objectives. This high-visibility role supports partnerships with Adobe and other platforms to foster innovation, drive product adoption, achieve company certifications, and influence product roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a platform expert with a focus on the Adobe Experience Cloud
Maintain subject matter expertise as platforms evolve
Advise sales and client services when new features are available and assist in client positioning.
Support sales, go-to-market efforts, and Bounteous credibility in the marketplace.
Stay on top of industry trends and have the ability and willingness to learn about and speak to a variety of platforms
Identify and build out packaged offerings and/or accelerators to assist in sales
Create efficiencies leading to strong customer value realization and/or optimizations.
Collaborate with platform partners on product roadmap advisory, feature exploration and development, and integration solutions and approaches
Partner with client service and business development to support pitches and follow-on client work
Strategize, architect, and create approaches for scalable, tailored platform implementations
Present and articulate subject matter expertise through compelling client presentations
Scope estimates and collaborate on multi-solution and multi-platform solutioning and scoping
Lead customer-facing workshops, demos, and hands-on labs
Provide deep domain expertise in client business, technology stack, and data infrastructure, complemented by a wide-ranging knowledge base in digital marketing
Provide thought leadership in the marketing technology space and help Bounteous differentiate as the go-to partner in this space
Develop deep knowledge of each client's business and available data to ensure platform solutioning is on par with client's marketing objectives
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for platform configuration, data schemas and system integrations to deliver against business needs
Oversee and steer client programs and development work to meet client objectives
Provide support to development teams with solutioning
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience creating customer data and marketing technology solutions
3+ years of experience at a digital-first, global delivery agency/consultancy
Strong consultative and client-facing skills
Power user knowledge in the following products is a must-have for the initial assignment: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites and Assets, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Workfront
Working knowledge of the following products is initially a nice to have. Power User level knowledge will become a must-have for this role later: Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Customer Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe RT-CDP, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Marketo.
