AWS Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking for a Senior Consultant, Supply Chain & Logistics for its Technology & Industry team. This role will be focused on helping customers to solve the most demanding and complex Supply Chain challenges and empowers them to build Digital Supply Chain capabilities. We enable our AWS customers to break down information silos and optimize performance to accelerate innovation, fuel growth and achieve operational excellence.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated executive-level experience leading, defining, designing and deploying enterprise level strategic solutions across the end-to-end supply chain. We are looking for candidates with proven Supply Chain Transformation experience with strong focus on IT and technology solutions. Domain areas of expertise include most or some of the following: Planning: forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, integrated business planning
- Supply Chain Digital Transformation: Subject matter expertise transforming an organization
- Sourcing & Procurement: strategic sourcing, eProcurement, supplier management
- Supply Chain Network Strategy: manufacturing & distribution network optimization, control towers, global trade
- Manufacturing: manufacturing planning & execution, IoT enablement, sustainability
- Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment: inventory strategy, segmentation, omnichannel, warehouse planning & operations, warranty, returns
- Logistics & Transportation: transportation planning & scheduling, route optimization, track & trace
Key job responsibilities
- Deliver value – Lead and support local ProServe delivery teams as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver transformational ProServe technical engagements for AWS customers in the supply chain and logistics domain
- Pre-sales support – Create and deliver presentations to customers that inspire the art of the possible in supply chain management using cloud computing. Understand customer requirements and collaborate with AWS sales leaders to scope, present, and win new Retail customer engagements
- Industry Leadership – Identify common customer interest in APJ and innovate new technology offerings. Work with the global Supply Chain Industry team to stay-ahead of the leading-edge platform services and ProServe technology offerings.
- Industry Expertise Transfer – Upskill AWS ProServe builders in APJ on proven ProServe Supply Chain offerings.
- While this is an individual contributor role, the candidate will be tasked with leading several key initiatives and projects as part of cross-functional teams.
This is an executive level customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed (~40% of time).

As the thought leader for end-to-end digital supply chains you will interface with customers across multiple functional disciplines (engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, sales & marketing and aftermarket or service and support), across multiple levels of the organization (CTO, CIO, CPO, SCSO, COO, CEO, CDO, functional VP, Director, and functional specialist). You will focus on designing, building, and/or implementation state of the art technology solutions together with our AWS Professional Services teams (e.g., Analytics, AIML, Generative AI, IoT) and partners (Systems integrators, software providers).

- 10+ years of experience in developing transformational strategies around product/ solution roadmap with execution programs to deliver on envisioned strategy, familiarity with make-to-stock and make-to-order strategies
- Recent and demonstrated hands-on experience with Supply Chain domain workloads, e.g., demand forecasting, end-to-end inventory visibility and optimization, routing optimization
- Ability to create compelling customer proposals and executive-level presentation skills
- Expert-level understanding of Cloud Computing, Hybrid, Multi-cloud environments- Experience in pre-sales a plus
- AWS Cloud Certifications (will be required to obtain and keep these certifications active)
- Experience with AWS Supply Chain services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, AWS Supply Chain, Amazon Bedrock)
