Professional Services (ProServe) Account Executives

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for ProServe Account Executives (PAE) that can manage the working relationship with one or more Global accounts, develop a long term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy with those accounts. The PAE is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role incudes all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight and program management in those accounts.

Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Identify & develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases
§ Development of long term Cloud Strategy for customers
§ Deal shaping, including estimations and deal pricing
§ Contract negotiations & closing
§ Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilities
§ Mitigation of delivery risks & issues
§ Overseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery
§ Act as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations
§ Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition
§ Envision and inspire customers
§ Coaching Customer and Partner teams to be self-sufficient..




Key job responsibilities
- Engagement with our customers senior leaders, stakeholders and sponsors
- Develop ProServe go to market strategy with AWS Business Development Manager and Solution Architect
- Create the customers ProServe journey map
- Creating, presenting, negotiating, and winning ProServe Statement of Work (contracts)

- Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer interactions and relationships to improve satisfaction and loyalty. Includes developing and executing customer engagement strategies; tracking interactions; analyzing feedback; and using Salesforce and other tools.
- Sales Acumen: Sell products and services to customers. Includes developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying and assessing needs, developing and presenting proposals, and negotiating and closing deals.
- Sales Closing and Negotiating: Influence prospective or current clients to purchase goods or services. Includes negotiating with clients and using various techniques to highlight value, benefits, and impact.
- Sales Solution Creation: Develop custom offerings that meet customer needs. Includes designing tailored solutions, strategically combining product or service features, and emphasizing the value proposition.- 5+ years of IT implementation experience
- Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
- Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others throughout the organization, and work together to solve problems and achieve goals.
