You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. This role offers challenge and opportunity for experienced cabling professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer experience, drive global innovation through structured cabling contributions.
This full-time position will have you working with internal customers, vendors as well as coordinating regional resources to promote smooth project execution in association with Technical Program managers.
Key job responsibilities
• Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes and industry best practices.
• Installation of network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Complete understanding of industry cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of different cabling systems (Copper/Fiber test equipment, OTDR, Network analyzer, vfl etc.).
• Report current status via ticketing system, status reports and email.
• Manager multiple concurrent interdisciplinary projects and ability to work in a team.
• Ensure quality delivery of all work and maintain collocation space cleanliness.
• Inventory, track and manage project related materials throughout project lifecycle.
• Provides daily feedback on project progress to Project Manager.
• Reading and comprehending building documentation/redline work.
• Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
• Must be able to travel between sites in Metro Melbourne as required.
• Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.
• Occasional work in tight and/or narrow spaces.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, or crouch for long periods of time.
• Manage, check and coordinate all materials to be delivered to site daily.
A day in the life
A normal day involve working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.

- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 16 kg and move up to 20 kg.
- Thorough understanding of fiber optic cabling systems.- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
- Minimum 1+ year of structured cabling experience.
