Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, including with compute, networking and storage.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience with ML training and inferencing business.
  • Understanding of the cloud technology market, services, participants, and customer/user requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and strategy docs, writing and delivering presentations to leadership.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Management leader, you will contribute to the mission of delivering innovative Infrastructure at cloud scale for ML, High Performance Computing (HPC) Graphics and other workloads. Our team works cross-functionally to build, launch and land new infrastructure offerings on Google Compute Engine (GCE). Our team focuses on delivering the industry's GPU-based solutions for these workloads.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Help define, build, launch and land the GPU infrastructure for training and serving AI/ML, driving business growth for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understand the customer journey and their workflows for our AI/ML workloads. Understand their pain points and how AI/ML infrastructure can address their constraints, know how to shape our product roadmap by building new offerings to best drive growth to GCP.
  • Understand the technical challenges and dependencies, working with executives across Google to ensure effective product launches and deliver a product experience.
  • Drive product strategy and set product priorities, teaming closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next generation of cloud services.
