Manager, Global Supply Chain Management, Mechanical

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in technical sourcing and supply chain management.
• 5 years of experience in leading teams as a people manager through multi-year organizational transformation within the technology industry.
• Experience in IM, metal CNC, hinge, die-casting, MIM, forging, glass, painting, plating, stamping and die-cuts commodity management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA.
• 15 years of experience in global supply chain management.
• Experience in leading teams as a people manager through multi-year organizational transformation within the technology industry.
• Experience with both manufacturing and supply chain processes, leading strategy development, and sourcing or a related function.
• Excellent analysis and presentation skills.

• Drive all aspects of the commercial and contractual engagement with our global mechanical supply base. Manage overall Mechanical material spend and related capital investments, develop and execute global supply chain strategies.
• Manage suppliers to ensure production readiness, assurance of supply, and overall quality in support of NPI builds and sustaining operations.
  
• Drive close partnerships with internal partners including engineering, marketing, and operations to drive innovative, cost effective, and quality solutions that support our overall product launch and sustainability goals.
• Manage supply chain risk while creating flexible and responsive supply chain solutions. Drive cost reductions with should cost model and influence partners for cost effective supply chain solutions.
