Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of work experience with Account Management, Ad Operations or Project Management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using one monetization or ad serving solutions (Google Ad Manager, AdSense, AdMob, other solutions).
  • Experience with streamlining operational process (e.g. automation) and familiarity with SQL.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including experience in managing medium to large with short and long-term projects.
  • Understanding of online advertising (i.e., ad serving, monetization solutions) and key platforms and trends (i.e., desktop, mobile, video).
  • Demonstrated analytical (e.g. understand monetization metrics and derive optimization), operational efficiency (e.g. streamline process flow), and stakeholder management ability.

As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

Under Sellside Business Operations, the role oversees the efficient sales operations in billing, payments, and contracting workflows for Sellside. Proactively and reactively support the broader analyst team and extended workforce in handling case requests from sellside sales users.

The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as "BizOps", the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. BizOps creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Google's fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.

  • Manage service workflows for financial operations including, but not limited to invoice and payment reconciliation, contract creation support.
  • Identify areas to contribute to the team goal of realizing operational efficiency gains by streamlining financial operations processes. Increase efficiency of team resources by identifying and resolving pain points and knowledge gaps.
  • Perform other administrative and operational role-related tasks such as liaising and aligning with cross-functional Financial Operations teams.
  • Oversee Ad Manager invoice disputes and processing billing modifications. Support the automation of Ad Manager billing workflow.
  • Liaise on behalf of our Sales teams, with various internal cross-functional teams to resolve billing and payment issues promptly. Gather and analyze feedback from users and internal teams to improve existing workflows.
