Job Description

About the role

As Value Marketing Manager, Strategy and Operations you will directly report to the Head of Value & Promotions Marketing for the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with key marketing teams to define the right promotional calendar based on business objectives, with a particular focus on how we can maximise the value of Partner investment in promotions to deliver great value to customers at key calendar moments and seasonal periods. You will also be responsible for identifying future growth opportunities to experiment within our promotions, taking into account business priorities, past performance of promotions, and market trends, whilst keeping up-to-date the information about campaign execution and results.

You will work cross-functionally across local, global, commercial, finance, Tech and data science teams to build the right plan and define processes that improve our customer experience, partner experience,  as well as identify improvements in the way that promotions are executed at Deliveroo. 

What you'll be doing

  • Champion the partner voice in the promotions space, working closely with the Partner facing marketing teams and commercial teams to stay up to date with partner needs and perspectives. 
  • Work closely with insight and DS teams to develop a strong sense of Customer needs to ensure Partner offer propositions are delivering compelling value. 
  • Implement and execute our Promo Campaigns, across key channels such as CRM and In app merchandising, ensuring best in class execution and relevant communication
  • Key POC within the Partner Growth Squad, working to define the right Partner Hub experience for investing in offers and building playbooks outlining best practice for Partners to deploying their promo spend in line with their objectives 
  • Lead our Test and Learn agenda for partner funded promotions
  • Align promotional plans between different central and local marketing teams to ensure we have the right technical, reporting and targeting foundations in place for the plan. 
  • Own weekly reporting on in flight campaign performance and post campaign analysis to understand metrics of success and identifying improvement areas and opportunities to experiment
  • Keep on top of competitor trends and activity to strengthen plans

Requirements

  • 3-4 years experience in Marketing or Commercial role, ideally working with value / promotional campaigns
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience presenting ideas and recommendations to senior leadership to gain buy in
  • You’re both analytical & commercial and you enjoy interpreting data to develop insight/consumer-led marketing strategy. Comfortable with analytical tools like excel.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and can manage multiple cross-departmental stakeholders; confident communicating at all levels
  • Ability to adapt and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You have a self-starter attitude and you’re able to thrive in a fast-paced matrixed organisation with constant change.
  • You have a proven track record in making things happen - delivering results quickly and efficiently.
