It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world’s relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.
Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We’ve been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.
The Third Party Response Analytics team at Cash App plays a critical role in building high-trust relationships between Cash and the external parties we work with, such as partners, regulators, and others. Our north star is empowering relationship owners within Cash to self-service the vast majority of these requests quickly and accurately through the automated tooling and reporting developed by our team. We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineering Manager to help us continue growing the impact of this high-performing team and focus specifically on a team of 5-6 BIEs who support our portfolio of lending products.
Your team will be highly visible, partnering directly with a variety of stakeholders at all levels across Cash App to identify and implement opportunities for automating the data supply chain and enhancing reliability. You will play a pivotal role in managing cross-functional relationships, guiding the design and development of innovative solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of data processes. As a leader, you will be accountable for growing and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for innovation and automation, coupled with a proven ability to build, engage, and retain a team of highly talented engineers. You should have prior experience leading a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and be comfortable diving into projects as a hands-on contributor when necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will regularly interact with stakeholders and senior management, ensuring alignment and driving impactful outcomes.
