Infrastructure - DevOps Engineer

Your future role within QRT:

The successful candidate will join the global infrastructure team at QRT, contributing to the development of the firm's Infrastructure Automation Platform. This role focuses on implementing an orchestration-driven approach to managing bare-metal build services, leveraging workflow management tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and a robust Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) mindset.

Candidates must demonstrate a proven ability to deliver complex software or infrastructure solutions at scale. Successful delivery should showcase expertise in automation-driven processes, end-to-end pipeline workflows, and the seamless integration of development and operational practices.

Your present skillset:

• You bring a strong foundation in software engineering, with deep expertise in areas such as test-driven development, software architecture, release management, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in Golang or similar programming and scripting languages is essential, along with hands-on experience using version control systems (VCS) and CI/CD tools like GitLab or Git.
• You have worked with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal or Airflow, leveraging software to seamlessly integrate disparate systems.
• Your expertise extends to cloud infrastructure, encompassing deep knowledge of multiple cloud technologies and the ability to operate within and migrate across public and private cloud environments.
• Additionally, you have strong skills in metrics visualization, with hands-on experience using tools like Kibana, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana to monitor and analyze system performance.
• You will stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure automation and DevOps tooling and practices remains cutting-edge.
• As a senior engineer you will partner closely with our research and infrastructure engineering teams and work in a highly collaborative manner.
