Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Microsoft Copilot team, you will:
- Orchestrate AI-Driven Projects: Lead the end-to-end release management and execution of large-scale AI initiatives, ensuring our Copilot experiences are delivered on time and with high quality.
- Champion Product Quality: Define and refine testing methodologies and best practices to detect issues early and maintain robust product quality for customers worldwide.
- Coordinate Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and product stakeholders to align on goals, track deliverables, and communicate status updates effectively.
- Leverage Data & Insights: Collaborate with analytics teams to define key success metrics, analyze product usage, and influence roadmaps based on data-driven insights.
- Shape AI-Powered Roadmaps: Partner with product management to prioritize features that drive user satisfaction and deliver measurable impact, staying ahead of emerging trends in AI.
- Foster a Growth Mindset: Mentor team members, share best practices, and cultivate a culture where everyone feels empowered to innovate, learn, and grow.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4 years experience in technical program/project management
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2 years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects to drive complex projects.
- Proven track record delivering customer-facing software or services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with AI or machine learning technologies (e.g., large language models, cognitive services)
- Hands-on experience delivering cloud-based services at scale
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences
- Demonstrated analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform strategic decisions
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and the drive to achieve clarity amidst ambiguity.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
Microsoft will accept applications and processes offers for these roles on an ongoing basis.
