Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab is looking for a talented and passionate Art Director to create bespoke campaigns focused on Telecommunication and Entertainment clients in the US. You’ll partner with creative directors, copywriters, designers, solutions managers and producers to create first-class customer experiences both on and offline by innovating with the Amazon canvas (FireTV, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, etc). You'll lead projects and own client relationships, focusing on creating work that benefits the end customer while pushing the creative envelope from brief to execution.
Key job responsibilities
From the initial concept to final launch, you will be tasked with delivering bold, insightful, and data-driven ideas that transform needs and constraints into customer-centric brand campaign strategies and solutions. You should excel in both concept development and execution, effectively articulating end-to-end experiences and translating that vision into high-quality deliverables. This may involve creating user interface designs for voice and screen, developing interaction models, building prototypes, producing video content, and crafting interactive advertising campaigns. In this role, you'll leverage data and insights to shape campaign strategies and concepts, design experiences, and create templates for innovative brand campaigns that address customer challenges both on and off Amazon platforms. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering top-tier designs and exceptional art direction for campaigns across various Amazon touchpoints. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Figma is essential. We're seeking a conceptual art director with robust design skills and a strong grasp of UX design.

• Presenting ideas to clients, their partner media agency, and internal teams
About the team
The Brand Innovation Lab team is the internal team within Amazon Ads that creates one-of-a-kind campaigns and activations for global advertisers, like Universal Pictures, Disney, Warner Bros., Starz, Discovery, Lego, Mattel, Verizon and AT&T. Using different products and services within the Amazon canvas (custom landing pages on Amazon.com, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, TNF, etc.), we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across our digital channels and out in the real-world.- Minimum of 5 years art direction / design / communications experience at advertising agencies and/or in-house creative departments.
- Must have an online portfolio URL in your resume, demonstrating an art direction, design and conceptual thinking skillset, as well as big thinking that can extend into any medium.
- Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign.
- Excellent presentation skills and interactive storytelling ability.
- Strong understanding of digital and social platforms, as well as their use within marketing.- You are insightful and an innovative problem solver.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
