Join Amazon Photos as a Sr. Product Manager, Tech to lead two critical charters that will shape how millions of customers experience their photos. You'll own both the Photos Organization charter, which focuses on helping customers effortlessly organize and access their growing photo libraries, and Mobile Innovation, which includes leading cross-platform information architecture innovation for both iOS and Android. This unique role combines strategic product thinking, technical leadership, and cross-team collaboration to solve complex organizational and user experience challenges at scale. As the owner of mobile information architecture, you'll drive innovation across multiple product domains while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for both iOS and Android customers. Key job responsibilities
Photo Organization
• Lead the end-to-end development and execution of Amazon Photos' Photo Organization strategy, including features like organized timeline, collections, and intelligent photo management
• Partner with science and engineering teams to build foundational capabilities for auto-organizing customer photo libraries, including moment detection, duplicate identification, and metadata management
• Drive the development of features that help customers efficiently manage their growing photo collections across devices

Mobile Innovation
• Own and evolve the mobile information architecture strategy across iOS and Android platforms to drive product innovation and customer engagement
• Create and evolve a lightweight mobile governance framework that enables multiple teams to contribute while maintaining consistency across both iOS and Android
• Establish and iterate on core mobile UI/UX standards and development guardrails for both platforms
• Coordinate mobile feature development across product teams to prevent conflicts
• Partner with engineering leadership to implement modular architecture supporting scale
• Drive cross-domain collaboration to ensure cohesive user experiences across different product areas

A day in the life
You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and UX Designers across multiple teams to bring the Organization and Mobile Innovation visions to life. A typical day might include:
• Leading product strategy sessions to align teams on Organization roadmap priorities
• Reviewing mobile feature proposals to ensure consistency with established standards across iOS and Android
• Collaborating with Science and AI teams on improving photo organization algorithms
• Working with UX research to validate new organizational concepts and information architecture
• Facilitating cross-team discussions to resolve mobile development dependencies
• Meeting with senior leadership to provide updates on key initiatives
• Coordinating with iOS and Android platform teams to ensure consistent implementation of features

About the team
The Amazon Photos Product & Program team consists of Product Management, Technical Program Management, and User Experience Designers with vast levels of experience. Our team members come from diverse disciplines, various company sizes, and at least five countries. We share a passion for solving our customer’s problems, continuously improving our craft, and striving to become a center of excellence in Product Management at Amazon. We embrace an underdog mentality, never settling for conventional thinking or the status quo.- 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning- Technical proficiency demonstrated through technical degree or equivalent work experience. A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience shipping new product experiences. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, self-driven, and enjoys technically challenging and ambiguous design & technical problems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
